By using Tally Ticker, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information that helps us provide a secure, interactive, and personalized scoring experience:

• Account & Profile Information (including Google Data): If you register or sign in using a Google account, we collect your Google profile information, specifically your email address, display name, profile photo URL (avatar), and Google user identifier.
• Match & Scoring Records: Live scoring events, timer sequences, custom side names, player rosters, venue court references, play levels, and match dates entered by scorekeepers.
• Usage & Device Data: Technical logs, browser user agent, IP address, and platform details captured for diagnostics, security audit trails, and usage guardrails.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:

• To securely authenticate and log you into your user account.
• To display your player name and profile picture on match scoreboards, leaderboards, and team rosters.
• To track and synchronize real-time match events, scoring logs, and timer states.
• To enforce service limits and concurrent active match capacity rules.
• To maintain audit trails of scoring logs to prevent spam and verify fair-play records.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We respect your data privacy and adhere to the following principles:

• No Sale or Rental: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or Google user profile data to any third-party advertisers, data brokers, or commercial platforms.
• Public Live Scoreboards: Profile names and avatars added to a live match roster or leaderboard will be visible to other spectators and players viewing that shared public broadcast URL.
• Compliance with Law: We may disclose information only if required to do so by applicable law, or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Google API Services Compliance (GCP Limited Use)

Tally Ticker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google OAuth user data for serving ads or transferring it to advertising networks.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including SSL/TLS data transfer encryption, secured database clustering, and isolated credential storage) to protect your account profile and match history data against unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.

7. Data Retention and Deletion Requests

We store guest match logs for up to 7 days, and permanent account profile and match records until they are explicitly deleted. You have complete control over your personal data:

• You can view or update your profile details and disconnect third-party logins from your Account settings screen.
• You can request the complete and permanent deletion of your Tally Ticker user account and all associated personal data by emailing our support team at support@tallyticker.com or submitting a request via your profile dashboard. We will process and confirm all deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time as our features evolve. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the changes.
