Community Guidelines

1. Playing and Scoring with Integrity

Tally Ticker is designed to capture the authentic spirit of real-world sports and recreation matches. To maintain the accuracy and value of our platform:

  • Fair Play: Create and log only genuine match scores, points, and event histories. Do not submit fake match results, spam match creation, or artificial score logs intended to manipulate leaderboards or rankings.
  • Accurate Context: Ensure that details such as play level, sport categories, scheduled times, and venue court references are entered truthfully to help other players coordinate and discover matches correctly.

2. Respect and Sportsmanship

Tally Ticker is a diverse and inclusive community for sports enthusiasts of all backgrounds. Respectful behavior is expected at all times:

  • No Harassment: We strictly prohibit bullying, stalking, threats, or harassment of any player, spectator, or scorekeeper.
  • No Discrimination or Hate Speech: Do not post content, custom names, or comments that promote hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
  • Appropriate Naming: Player nicknames, display names, and team profiles must remain clean and family-friendly. Offensive terms, profanity, vulgarity, or sexually suggestive names are not permitted.

3. Intellectual Property and Authenticity

Authenticity builds trust. When defining profiles and teams:

  • No Impersonation: Do not impersonate actual players, professional sports figures, official leagues, registered clubs, or administrators.
  • Respect Content Rights: Only upload logos, photos, or media that you have the legal right to use and display.

4. Reporting and Moderation

To keep Tally Ticker safe, clean, and competitive, we rely on active moderation and user support:

  • Flagging Violation: If you witness offensive player display names, abusive team profiles, or fraudulent match activity, please report it immediately by emailing moderation@tallyticker.com or using the built-in report links where available.
  • Tally Action: Our moderation team reviews all flagged activities. We reserve the right to rename inappropriate teams or profiles, remove spam match histories, and suspend or permanently terminate user accounts violating these guidelines.
